Christian Wife’s Secrets to Settling Debt

I have settled debts for less than half the amount owed and boy was my husband happy. What would it mean to your marriage if you were able to settle some of your debt? Would that mean now you can start an emergency fund, take the vacation that you always wanted, save for that car or even have a savings account and take a vacation.

Paying off debt can make you feel as if the weight has been lifted off your shoulder. I would also go out on a limb to say that if you have less debt, then your health would be better. Let’s be honest, I know that when there are financial issues and stress it can affect your health. I have talked with people throughout the years that have had financial issues and they have health problems. They go to the doctor, yet the doctor cannot figure out what is wrong with them. When all the time they know at the root cause of that is they are in financial turmoil within their home.

Let’s take it even one step further, your work performance would probably be a lot better as well. Whether you own your own business or work outside of the home. When financial issues are removed it is easier to focus on the big picture and not focusing so much on the short-term goal which is usually what can I do to make money in a short amount of time? That does not necessarily always present the best options either.

I know you are probably asking yourself, can I really settle some of my debt? Sure you can and without paying someone else to do it for you. As a matter of fact, that money you would be using to pay someone could go towards removing an old debt and giving you room to breathe.
