WHY?

Money is one of the top reasons for divorce. Money in itself cannot cause a divorce. It is how people handle money that causes issues, division and more. As a married wife of 13 years that came into her marriage with debt, fears and ashamed of mistakes I made, I kept thinking in many of the households, the money manager is the WIFE.  At the beginning of this year, I began doing a lot of refocusing and working on my financial education program for engaged couples which is Money Talk before the Commitment Walk and The Debt Stops At The Altar.  This took care of the brides-to-be and engaged couples. 

Then I did some more research and there’s still a need for During the Marriage. This is why Marriage Money Matters was BORN.

WHO

Marriage Money Matters is for the wife that:

1) Has been married a month to 50 yrs and has marriage and money questions about money management

2) Wants to establish wealth for the future

3) Chooses to plan for home-ownership

4) Has a relationship with God and wants answers on faith and finances for her marriage; and

5) Recently widowed or divorced wife that never thought about money managment because the husband managed the money.  She has money issues and is seeking advice.

WHAT?

Marriage Money Matters is a membership site that is promoting positive change in money and marriage. It is where wives can get solutions on money and marriage issues, credit counseling, setting healthy financial boundaries for your relationship, financial advice and much more.

My mission is to provide wives with a place where they can come anonymously(if necessary), ask questions and feel safe. This is not a FORUM because I know that money is a “taboo topic” and it takes a lot for people to say I need help. So when you become a member, you will have access to content that will change each month such as financial lessons, downloadable audios, opportunity to participate in a monthly chat and more.

One of my goals is to provide you with continuous support, help you to grow in financial literacy and remove financial stress from your marriage.
