Can a Christian Marriage Survive Bankruptcy?

Wives I decided to address this very important topic because life happens and there are times when Christians might see this as their only option. To answer this question, sure a Christian marriage can survive a bankruptcy as long as husband and wife are on the same page. What I mean by that, is that one person did not decide this was the only answer and the other one went along with it even though they were not in agreement.
What the husband and wife need to do once they have chosen to file is the following:
(1) Be honest with each other and discuss what was the reason that it happened.
(2) Get control of their finances as they are in the process of starting over so that they do not take those same choices into their new start or they will find themselves in the same pattern.
(3) Establish a new household budget based on the income that truly exist.
(4) I would not even recommend getting a credit card. Do not fall for those people that will attempt to give you a laon even though they know you have bad debt. They will prey on the fact that they you do not know and they expect you to fail.
(5) Exercise wisdom in everything that you do as you move forward. Consider the big picture before you make a move.
If you are concerned about how do you even begin to re-establish yourself, look at this – when you enter into a new mortgage where you have to pay monthly – that will establish your credit. Make sure you get a place that you can afford.
Work together and not against each other as you move forward.
